A black dress in crushed crinkle fabric, layered with rows of shirring and bands of lace from the wide boat neck all the way to the hem. Fine gathers and see-through lace build up in tiers, with tiny sequins scattered here and there catching a faint light. The sleeves are shirred in at the wrist and the hem finishes in a flutter of lace. Decadent yet delicate — very Algonquins.
